Would you like to get involved with the Boston community while doing something you love?

Are you a non-profit looking for help & expertise from young professionals?

Would you like to connect with civic-minded young professionals with professional skillsets and expertise that could help your cause?

This event is for you!

WHY is this event DIFFERENT?

This event will have open networking (of course) and you will also be able to participate in MasterMind groups (these will be short brainstorming sessions, 7-8 minutes long).

These groups will be:

5-7 people sitting at a table sharing:

1. Your challenges and also letting the other people know
2. WHAT resources you need to solve your challenges and
3. WHO you need to know that can help you.

You'll walk out with solid connections to help advance your business activities instead of just random business cards.

PRIZES FOR THE DRAWING AT THE EVENT (all attendees are elegible, included with the event!) INCLUDE:

FOR NON-PROFITS (All prizes below are being offered free of charge by companies IN BOSTON; you'll be connecting with professionals in your local communities that want to help your non-profit!):

• Social Media Audit ($500 value)
A review of your web site(s), and learn how to implement changes to create better results! (Provided by John Haydon, more info here)


• 4 Hours of Social Media Consulting ($400 value)
The 42nd Estate will provide four hours of social media consulting and copywriting analysis. We'll analyze your existing web-site and social media campaigns and suggest ways to streamline your outreach efforts to better reach your target audience. For more info, check out our blog.

• Social Media Strategy Session
You'll receive a 1-on-1 session (2 hours) to analyze your current social media strategy, isolate pain points and then create solutions to move forward. If you don't have a social media strategy you can create one. Provided by Maria Thurrell.  See http://www.mediaawaken.com for more about Maria.

NETWORKING FOR A CAUSE CONNECTS NON-PROFITS AND COMMUNITY CAUSES WITH:

1) Young professionals with specific expertise or skill sets (such as web design, meeting planning, etc)

2) People in transition that want to share their expertise (could be marketing, PR, etc) while in transition and

3) College students that want to become active in a profession by giving back to their community.

Everyone at the event will receive a spreadsheet afterwards listing attendees, what they need and how they want to help so you can make connections with people even if you didn't meet them at the event.
